What happens when I hit transmute?

You will be updating your on-chain metadata for a statue with the new poem. This poem will cause statue material to change, consume mana, and update the description of the NFT.

What are the new attributes "Spell Strength" + "Transmutation style"?

Spell Strength denotes the strength of the applied spell. If it is 10, it would be applied to the maximum, 0 and it would not appear.

Transmutation style denotes which kind of material change you should expect. There is 8 ways your statue can change.

Why don't I see any changes visually?

Not all permutations of spells are as effective as others. Figure out which poems work the best for your statue.

Can I transmute multiple times?

Yes, each time you transmute, you will be paying mana for the new change which will undo the previous transmutation.

Why does some incantations cost more mana?

Some verses have a higher chance of altering the final output of the statue. These are priced according their potential change.

What is going on behind the scenes with each poem?

Each verse you select maps to a mathematical computation. By creating a poem, you are in-effect creating a mathematical formula that applies changes to your statue's colorways. You can specifically target interesting color trends by trying specific verses.
